Mama please don’t cry

You know you've raised me right

And are always by my side

But I'm in a better place and time

Now that I've died

I've often seen my own demise

Quick and painless

Maybe it's for the best

Not growin old before I'm put to rest

Because ain't nothing worse

Than this cursed earth

Born and bred to die since birth

So please mama, don’t cry

This is your son up in the sky

Now sit back and watch me fly.
